Vintage 1950s Willard’s Champagne Lucite Ornate Box Purse

Box purses like this one have become so hard to find. They were often not stored properly which led to lots of cracks and breakage.

That is not the case with this beautiful piece. Wilardy was a company known for making some of the highest quality purses in the 1950s. They are famous for their box purses just like this one.

The color is the first thing that grabbed me with this purse. Then I saw the lid and the intricate faux pearl design. A twisted handle on the side made this fun piece absolutely exceptional.

A large mirror sits inside the lid and is excellent condition. Plenty of room for everything you need to carry with you - including a modern day cell phone!

This bag has some very minor scratches and wear from time but is in great overall condition and ready to be used.
